Health and construction is vital for various reasons, mainly legal, moral and financial ones. Legally, both you and your employer are required to follow health and safety legislation, such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. There is also the moral responsibility to protect the heath of both ourselves and our coworkers, and the financial responsibility to protect the business against a damaged reputation should an accident occur.
