The NEBOSH General Certificate is widely seen as the perfect introduction to occupational Health and Safety. NEBOSH Qualifications are a level 3, which is equivalent to an A-level qualification. NEBOSH Diplomas are a level 6, which equates to a bachelor’s degree.
There are no formal entry requirements for a NEBOSH diploma; however, it is recommended that you study a level 3 health and safety qualification before progressing on to a diploma. Leaners must also have a suitable standard of the English language to understand and articulate the syllabus.
The NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma is equivalent to a UK degree with full honours. The National Qualifications Framework states that completing the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals equates to a full UK bachelor’s degree.
